Nocturne. Each earring is a blossom of rebellion, its center glowing with a blood-red enamel said to echo the final oath of Larabelle Nocturne, whispered on the eve of her escape through the Mirror Gate.

The petals are not mere decoration. They were carved in the pattern of the Thorned Rose of Varnemoor, an ancient sigil once used to seal letters too dangerous to be read.

These studs, then, are not jewelry, they are tokens of betrayal, promise, and eternal memory.

According to the Blackwood Scrolls, Larabelle left these very earrings upon the altar of the Tower of Embers, sealed beneath her final letter to Darious, a letter never found.

Some say if the wearer stands in moonlight and closes their eyes, they can still hear her voice speak the line:
